If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Upper Delta. Head northeast on U.S. Route 63 towards Harrisburg. Continue on U.S. Route 63 for approximately 20 miles. Once you reach Harrisburg, take the exit for State Park Road (Arkansas Highway 1). Turn right onto State Park Road, and continue for about 2 miles. Lake Poinsett State Park will be on your left at 5752 State Park Rd, Harrisburg, AR 72432. There is no entrance fee for the park.
