Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Aparan, head towards the main street, which is called Tigran Mets Avenue. Walk straight along this avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Gyumri. Turn left onto this road. Continue walking for approximately 30 minutes, passing by local shops and cafes until you reach a bus stop where you can catch a minibus (marshrutka) to Gyumri. This will take around 30 minutes.

    Once you arrive in Gyumri from Aparan, disembark at the main bus station. From there, walk towards the city center. Head down Gorky Street until you reach the intersection with Tigran Mets Street. Turn right, and continue walking straight until you see the statue of Armen Tigranyan in the nearby park. It should take about 15 minutes to walk from the bus station to the statue.

    If you are already in Gyumri, and near the city center, start at the central square (Vardanants Square). From the square, head west towards the Church of the Holy Saviour.
