Car
If you are traveling by car from the Areni Wine Region, start at Areni village center. Head south on the main road (M2) towards Vayk. After approximately 5 km, take a left turn onto the road leading toward Boloraberd. Continue on this road for about 4 km, then follow the signs to Dragon’s Canyon which will be about 1 km further down the road. There are no direct tolls on this route, but ensure your vehicle is in good condition as the road can be rough.

Public Transportation
To reach Dragon’s Canyon via public transportation, take a bus or minivan from Areni to Vayk. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station in Areni. Once you arrive in Vayk, you will need to take a taxi or arrange a ride to Boloraberd. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and should cost around 1,500 to 2,000 AMD (Armenian Dram). After you reach Boloraberd, follow the local signs to Dragon’s Canyon, which is about 1 km away.

If you are already in Boloraberd and prefer to walk, from the center of Boloraberd, head towards the east side of the village. Follow the dirt path leading to the canyon; it is well-marked and takes approximately 20-30 minutes to reach Dragon’s Canyon on foot. The trail is relatively easy, but wear appropriate footwear as it can be uneven in places.
