Car
From Noravank Monastery, head northeast on the road towards the village of Gnishik. Drive for approximately 7 km until you reach a junction. Turn right at the junction and continue for about 3 km. The entrance to Gnishik Canyon will be on your right. Parking is limited. There is no entrance fee.
Public Transport
From Noravank Monastery, take a local bus or shared taxi towards the village of Gnishik. Buses typically depart from the main road outside the monastery. Confirm with the driver that they are heading to Gnishik. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. The fare is around 500 AMD. From Gnishik village, walk about 1 km to reach the gorge entrance.
Walking
For a scenic hike, walk from Noravank Monastery towards Gnishik village. The distance is approximately 10 km and takes about 2 hours. Follow the road, enjoying the views of the surrounding landscape. Be aware of vehicle traffic. Upon reaching Gnishik village, continue towards the canyon entrance.
