    From Yerevan, drive southeast on the M2 highway towards Goris, approximately 250 km. Continue on the M2 towards Kapan. The road ascends, and you'll pass through Tashtun Pass. Be aware that the road conditions can be challenging, especially in winter. There are no tolls on this route. Fuel costs for the trip from Yerevan to Tashtun Pass and back can range from 15,000 to 25,000 AMD depending on the vehicle.

  • Public Transport

    Take a bus or minibus from Yerevan to Kapan. Buses leave regularly from Yerevan Central Bus Station. From Kapan, hire a taxi to Tashtun Pass, or ask to be dropped off at the closest intersection on the M2 highway. The bus from Yerevan to Kapan costs approximately 3,000-5,000 AMD. A taxi from Kapan to Tashtun Pass may cost around 3,000-4,000 AMD.
