From Armavir, take the H1 highway towards Yerevan. Continue on H1 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the Pokr Vedi exit. Once you exit, follow the signs for Khor Virap Monastery, which will direct you to H11. The monastery is about 5 kilometers from the exit. The total driving time is approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

To reach Khor Virap Monastery from Armavir using public transportation, first take a minibus (marshrutka) from the main bus station in Armavir to Yerevan. The fare is around 300-500 AMD. Once in Yerevan, head to the Kilikia Bus Station and find a minibus heading to Artashat or Ararat. The fare for this leg is approximately 500 AMD. Request the driver to drop you off near the entrance to Khor Virap or get off at the Pokr Vedi stop. From there, it is about a 1.5-kilometer walk to the monastery. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will stop at Khor Virap.
