Ardvi Monastery, or St. Hovhannes Monastery, is a significant religious and historical site located in the village of Ardvi in the Lori region of Armenia. The monastery's history spans from the 8th to the 17th centuries, with various additions and reconstructions over time. It is also known as Srbanes Monastery, named in honor of St. Hovhannes Odznetsi (Hovhannes the Wise), a prominent theologian and reformer who was canonized by the Armenian Apostolic Church.
