Car
If you are driving from the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, get onto the M1 highway from the complex. Continue on M1 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the exit for Vagharshapat. Once you exit, follow the signs towards Vagharshapat city center. After about 5 kilometers, turn left onto 576R+PGF where Etchmiadzin Cathedral is located. There is parking available nearby but may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Etchmiadzin Cathedral via public transportation, start from the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. You can take a taxi or a bus to the nearest metro station, then take the metro towards the city center. Transfer to the bus number 5 or 16 at Republic Square, which goes directly to Vagharshapat. Once you arrive in Vagharshapat, ask the driver to let you off near the Etchmiadzin Cathedral, which is a well-known landmark. The total cost for this trip should be around 300 AMD for the bus and approximately 1500-2000 AMD for the taxi.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and the distance isn't an issue, you can walk to Etchmiadzin Cathedral. From the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, head south on the main road towards the M1 highway. Walk along the path leading to Vagharshapat, which is roughly a 5 km walk. As you approach the city, look for signs directing you to the cathedral, which is a short distance from the center of Vagharshapat.
