Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Yerevan and take the M1 highway towards Gyumri. After approximately 35 km, take the exit towards Hrazdan (M4). Continue on M4 for about 45 km until you reach the town of Hrazdan. From Hrazdan, follow the signs to the Geghama Mountains. The road is well-marked and will lead you towards the Ghegam Ridge area, which is located at approximately latitude 40.275 and longitude 44.75. Parking is available at designated spots near the trailheads.

To reach Ghegam Ridge using public transport, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Yerevan to Hrazdan. These minibuses depart from the Kilikia Bus Station in Yerevan. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Hrazdan, you can hire a taxi or take a local minibus to the outskirts of the Geghama Mountains. Ensure to communicate your destination (Ghegam Ridge) to the driver. Taxi fares may vary, and it’s advisable to negotiate the price beforehand.
