Getting There

Walking
From the main entrance of Geghard Monastery, start walking towards the main road that leads to the parking area. As you exit the monastery grounds, turn left onto the main road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork. At the fork, take the right path which leads you through a small valley towards the Black Wall. Continue walking for approximately 15-20 minutes, and you will see the Black Wall on your right. It's a prominent rock face that is hard to miss.

Car
If you have access to a car, exit Geghard Monastery and head towards the main road. Make a right turn at the fork and drive approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Black Wall will be visible on your right side. There is limited parking available along the roadside, so be sure to find a safe spot to park your vehicle. Note that there may be no parking fees in the area.

Public Transportation
To reach the Black Wall via public transportation, first, exit Geghard Monastery and walk to the main road. Look for a bus or minibus heading towards the nearby town of Garni. The bus stop should be easily visible. Pay the fare (typically around 100-200 AMD) and board the bus. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the Black Wall stop. The journey should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, you can easily walk to the base of the wall from the bus stop.
