Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Gegharkunik and head southeast on the H24 road towards Kurtan. Continue driving for approximately 15 km until you reach the coordinates XH3M+5JF. The Hnevank Monastery will be located on your right side. There is a small parking area near the entrance where you can safely leave your vehicle.
Public Transportation
To reach Hnevank using public transportation, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) from the main bus station in Gegharkunik heading towards Vardenis. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Kurtan. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kurtan, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to reach Hnevank Monastery. Follow the main road until you see the signs for the monastery.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Kurtan after arriving by public transport, it is a straightforward route. From the drop-off point in Kurtan, walk along the H24 road heading northeast. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Hnevank Monastery. The walk will take around 15-20 minutes, and the scenery along the way is quite pleasant.
