Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Sevan from any location in Gegharkunik. Use the main road leading to Sevan, which is well-signposted. Once you reach Sevan, look for signs indicating the beach areas. The Sand beach Sevan public is located at GXP8+C9M, Unnamed Road, Sevan. Use a GPS or a maps application to guide you directly to the coordinates (40.5360772, 44.9659162). There is usually no entrance fee for public beaches. Ensure your vehicle is parked in designated areas to avoid fines.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus or minibus (marshrutka) from Yerevan to Sevan. Buses leave from the Yerevan Central Bus Station. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Sevan bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Sand beach Sevan public. The distance from the bus station to the beach is about 3 kilometers. Taxis are readily available and should cost around 1,500 to 2,000 AMD. Alternatively, you can inquire locally for mini-buses that might take you closer to the beach.
