Dilijan’s Lake, or Parz Lake (Պարզ լիճ), meaning 'Clear Lake' in Armenian, is a small, captivating lake located east of Dilijan, within the stunning Dilijan National Park. Formed by natural climatic changes, the lake is surrounded by dense forests, creating a serene and reflective surface mirroring the surrounding trees. At an altitude of 1,334 meters, the lake has an area of approximately 0.03 square kilometers and an average depth of 7 meters. Fed by underground springs and precipitation, Parz Lake is beautiful year-round, with each season offering a unique perspective. In the summer, it provides a cool escape, while in the autumn, the surrounding foliage transforms into vibrant shades of red and gold. Visitors can enjoy various activities around the lake, including boating, zip-lining, and exploring the surrounding trails.
