The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes along a path that can be steep and slippery, especially after rain. There are no entrance fees to access the monastery.

To reach Kober village by public transport, take a bus from Alaverdi towards Kober or the direction of Lori Marz. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. From the bus stop in Kober village, follow the walking directions to the monastery. Bus fare from Alaverdi to Kober is approximately 200-300 AMD. Alternatively, take a bus from Yerevan to Alaverdi (approx. 2.5 hours, 1700 AMD) , and then a connecting bus to Kober
