Walking
Start from the Kapan City Center, specifically at the main square (Haghartsin Square). Head south on Tigran Mets Street for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Aghbala Street. Turn left onto Aghbala Street and continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the outskirts of the city, you will see signs directing you to Крепость Багаберд. Follow the signs, which will lead you through a narrow path up a hill. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes, and the views will become increasingly beautiful as you ascend.

Public Transport
From the Kapan City Center, head to the nearest bus stop on Tigran Mets Street. Look for a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards the village of Shikahogh or another nearby area that passes close to Крепость Багаберд. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you near the fortress. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, you may need to walk uphill for around 1 kilometer to reach the fortress. Follow local signs and paths leading to Крепость Багаберд.
