From the center of Kapan, head towards the Kapan City Park located at the intersection of Yerevan Street and Tigran Mets Avenue. Walk straight through the park until you reach the end of the park and exit onto Tigran Mets Avenue. Continue walking for approximately 1 km until you reach the main road leading out of Kapan.

Once you reach the main road (A1), turn left and follow the road for about 3 km. This road will take you towards the village of Vahan. Keep an eye out for local signs indicating the direction to Mount Khustup, as the path will start to diverge from the main road.
