The highlight of Republic Square is undoubtedly the singing fountains, which operate from late spring to early fall. Renovated in 2007, these fountains offer a mesmerizing display of water, light, and music, attracting locals and tourists alike. The shows typically begin in the evening and feature a diverse repertoire, from classical masterpieces to contemporary pop and rock.Once the site of a Lenin statue, which was removed in 1991 after Armenia gained independence, Republic Square now serves as a venue for state concerts and celebrations.
