Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Kotayk. Head towards the main road leading to Yerevan. Continue along the M1 highway for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Yerevan. Take the exit towards the city center and follow the signs towards Moskovyan Street. After about 5 kilometers, you will arrive at 10 Moskovyan Street, where the Alexander Tamanian Statue is located. There is usually street parking available, but be cautious of parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Alexander Tamanian Statue using public transport, go to the nearest bus station in Kotayk. Take a bus heading to Yerevan (make sure it says Yerevan on the front). The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Yerevan, disembark at the central bus station. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Moskovyan Street. If walking, head northeast towards Abovyan Street, then turn left onto Moskovyan Street. The statue will be on your right at 10 Moskovyan Street. The bus fare is usually around 300-500 AMD.

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Kotayk to the Alexander Tamanian Statue. You can book a taxi through a local app or hail one on the street. The ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and the cost should be around 2,500 to 4,000 AMD. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your trip to avoid any misunderstandings.
