    If you're driving from Yerevan, take the M-4 highway towards Ashtarak. After about 25 kilometers, look for the signs directing you to Amberd. Turn onto the Amberd Road and continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the fortress. There is a parking area near the entrance where you can leave your car.
