Erebuni Fortress: Cradle of Yerevan

Founded by Urartian King Argishti I, it served as a vital military stronghold and administrative center for the Kingdom of Urartu. The fortress was constructed using basalt and tufa stones for the foundation, while the walls were primarily made of mudbrick.
