Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kotayk. Head south on the M1 highway towards Yerevan. After approximately 8 kilometers, take the exit towards Garni/Gegard. Continue on the road for about 14 kilometers, passing through the village of Garni. Follow the signs leading to Gutanasar, which is located at the coordinates 40.3689° N, 44.6869° E. The drive should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. There is no entry fee for the area.

For public transportation, take a minibus (marshrutka) from the central bus station in Kotayk to Garni. The marshrutkas run frequently and the fare is approximately 300 AMD (Armenian Dram). Once you arrive in Garni, you can either walk or hire a taxi to take you to Gutanasar, which is about 6 kilometers away. Taxis may charge around 1000-1500 AMD for the short trip.
