From Sisian Petroglyphs, head northwest on the road towards the town of Sisian. Continue on the main road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the town of Garni. There, follow the signs for Geghard Monastery. The monastery is located about 9 kilometers from Garni, and you will need to take a left turn onto a smaller road leading to Geghard. The GPS coordinates for the monastery are approximately 40.1404° N, 44.8185° E. Parking is available near the site, and there are no parking fees.

Public Transportation
To reach Geghard Monastery from Sisian Petroglyphs using public transportation, first take a local bus or minibus from Sisian to Yerevan. This trip will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and costs around 1,000 to 1,500 AMD. Upon arrival in Yerevan, transfer to another minibus heading towards Garni.
