From Sisian, drive northeast on the M2 highway. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the turnoff for Ughtasar Lake. The road will be marked, but be vigilant as signage may be minimal. Once you turn onto the dirt road, follow it for approximately 5 km until you reach the Ughtassar Petroglyphs area. Parking is available near the entrance.

Catch a minibus from Sisian to Ughtasar. Minibuses leave from the central bus station in Sisian. Inform the driver of your destination, as some may not go directly to Ughtasar. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. The fare is approximately 300-500 AMD per person. Once you arrive at Ughtasar, you may need to walk the remaining distance to the petroglyphs, which is about 1-2 km on foot.
