From Tatev Monastery, head southeast on the road leading away from the monastery towards the village of Tatev. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will reach a fork; take the left road that leads towards the village of Ttujur. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach a small parking area near Lake Sdikh. You may need to walk the final 500 meters to the lake, as the road may be narrow and unsuitable for vehicles.

From Tatev Monastery, you can take a shared taxi or minibus heading towards Goris. Ask the driver to drop you off near the village of Ttujur, which is approximately 5 kilometers away from the monastery. Once you arrive in Ttujur, you can either walk the remaining distance to Lake Sdikh, which is about 1 kilometer away, or hire a local taxi for a short ride to the lake.
