If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Dilijan, a popular town in Tavush. Head southwest on the M4 highway towards Ijevan. After about 20 kilometers, take the exit towards the village of Aghavnavank. Continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach Aghavnavank. From Aghavnavank, follow the signs towards the Azhdahak Mountain peak. The last part of the journey will be on a dirt road, which may require a 4x4 vehicle. Ensure you have a map or GPS, as the roads can be less well-marked. Note that you might need to pay a small fee for parking near the base of the mountain, which can be around 2000 AMD.
