If you are traveling by car, start in the center of Dilijan. From Dilijan, take the A1 highway heading southeast. After about 3 km, exit onto the road towards Dilijan National Park. Continue along this road for approximately 10 km until you reach the RW9W+J78 location, which is the starting point for the hike to Dimats Mountain. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for rural roads, as the last part of the drive may require navigating unpaved paths.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin by taking a marshrutka (minibus) from Dilijan to Ijevan. The marshrutka departs from the main bus station in Dilijan and the fare is usually around 300 AMD. Once you arrive in Ijevan, look for a local taxi or a hitchhiking option to take you back to Dilijan and drop you off near the RW9W+J78 location. The taxi fare may vary, but expect to pay around 1000-1500 AMD for the ride. From RW9W+J78, you can begin your hike towards Dimats Mountain.
Hiking
