If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Ijevan, the main hub in Tavush. Head east on the M-6 highway towards Koghb. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for the signs directing you to Koghb. Follow these signs until you reach Koghb village, which is about 15 kilometers from Ijevan. Once you arrive in Koghb, navigate to the coordinates 41.1641985 latitude and 44.9712359 longitude. You may have to ask locals for directions to Mshkavank, as it is a bit off the main road. Parking is available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Mshkavank via public transportation, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Ijevan to Koghb. Buses typically leave from the central bus station in Ijevan. The fare is usually around 200-300 AMD (Armenian Dram). Upon arriving in Koghb, ask the driver or locals for directions to Mshkavank, as it is not well-marked. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Koghb to Mshkavank, so be prepared for a short hike to reach the site.
