Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car from the center of Tavush, head south on the main road (H-12) towards the town of Dilijan. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork (H-44) towards the village of Kaghartsi. Continue on H-44 for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for Nor Varagavank. Turn right onto the small road leading up to the monastery. There is a parking area available near the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Nor Varagavank using public transportation, first make your way to the central bus station in Tavush. From there, take a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Dilijan. The fare should be around 300 AMD. Once you arrive in Dilijan, transfer to another marshrutka going towards Kaghartsi. Let the driver know you want to visit Nor Varagavank; they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer uphill to reach the monastery. Be prepared for a bit of a hike!
