If you are driving, start from the center of Ijevan, Tavush. Head south on the M-6 highway toward Yerevan. Continue on the M-6 for about 45 kilometers. When you reach the town of Vayk, take the turn onto the Noravank Monastery Rd. Follow this road for approximately 12 kilometers, which will lead you directly to the Noravank Monastery. Be aware that the road can be winding and steep, so drive cautiously.
Public Transportation
To reach Noravank via public transportation, first take a marshrutka (minibus) from Ijevan to Yerevan. The fare is approximately 1,500 AMD and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Yerevan, transfer to another marshrutka heading toward Vayk. After reaching Vayk, you will need to take a taxi or a local bus to Noravank Monastery Rd. The taxi fare from Vayk to Noravank is around 2,000-3,000 AMD. Make sure to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.

For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Ijevan to Noravank. This option offers the convenience of door-to-door service. The estimated cost for a taxi ride is around 15,000-20,000 AMD and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Ensure to agree on the fare before getting in.
