Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Ijevan, which is a central point in Tavush. Head southeast on the M-6 highway towards Dilijan. After approximately 12 km, look for signs directing you to Parz Lake. You will take a left turn onto a smaller road (it may not be well-marked, so keep an eye out for local road signs). Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach the entrance to Parz Lake. There is a small parking area where you can leave your car. Note that there is no entry fee to the lake, but if you plan to rent a boat or use any facilities, additional costs may apply.

Public Transportation
To reach Parz Lake via public transportation, start by taking a marshrutka (minibus) from Ijevan to Dilijan. These marshrutkas frequently depart from the Ijevan bus station and the fare is typically around 300 AMD (Armenian Dram). Once you arrive in Dilijan, you will need to take another marshrutka or a taxi. Look for a marshrutka that goes toward Parz Lake, or hire a taxi for a more direct route. The taxi fare from Dilijan to Parz Lake should be around 1,500-2,000 AMD. If you do not find a direct marshrutka, you can ask locals for assistance or use ride-hailing apps if available.
