Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Dilijan, which is a popular base for exploring Tavush. Take the M4 highway heading towards Ijevan. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit towards Aygehovit. Continue on the road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Aygehovit village. Once in the village, follow the signs towards Srvegh Monastery. The monastery is located approximately 2 kilometers from the village center. The road may be unpaved, so drive carefully.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) from Dilijan to Ijevan. The journey typically takes about 30 minutes. In Ijevan, transfer to another marshrutka that heads to Aygehovit. Once you arrive in Aygehovit, you can either walk the remaining 2 kilometers to Srvegh Monastery or arrange for a local taxi. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip.
Walking
If you're already in Aygehovit, walking to Srvegh Monastery can be a pleasant option. From the village center, head southeast on the main road, following the signs for the monastery. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and will take around 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way and take your time exploring the area.
