Public Transport
To reach Lake Gosh via public transport, start from Yerevan and take a minibus to Dilijan. From Dilijan, take a taxi to Goshavank Monastery or Gosh village. The bus from Yerevan to Dilijan costs approximately 1150-1800 AMD. A taxi from Dilijan to Gosh or Goshavank will cost around 2,000-3,000 AMD. From Goshavank, hike approximately 2.2 km to the lake.
Walking
From Gosh village or Goshavank Monastery, the final approach to Lake Gosh is a 2.2 km hike. The trail is moderately challenging and takes you through the forest. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and follow the marked paths. There are no entrance fees or tolls for hiking to the lake.
Taxi
From Dilijan, you can hire a taxi to take you to Gosh village or directly to Goshavank Monastery. Expect to pay around 2,000-3,000 AMD for the taxi ride. From either of these points, you will still need to hike the remaining distance to the lake. Some locals offer rides in 4x4 vehicles for a fee, especially during the muddy seasons.
