Lover's Park, nestled on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan, offers a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Dating back to the 18th century, this 1.6-hectare park has a rich history, having been known as "Boghos Bey Park," "Pushkin's Garden," and "Friendship Park" before its current name. The name 'Lovers' Park' was chosen because the adjacent Demirtchyan Street was previously dubbed “Lovers' Street”.
Reconstructed in 2006-2007 with a Japanese-style design by Swiss landscape architect Pierre Rambach, the park blends natural beauty with artistic expression. It features winding paths, a tranquil pond with islands, artificial waterfalls, and diverse flora. The park is also adorned with sculptures, including the statue of Gevorg Emin, a famous Armenian poet, and the contemporary sculpture "Obsidian Heart".
Lover's Park is not only a place for relaxation but also a cultural hub. Its 215-seat amphitheater hosts art exhibitions, outdoor film screenings, concerts, and community gatherings. The Achajur café within the park provides a charming spot to enjoy refreshments while admiring the tranquil gardens. With its convenient location near the Marshal Baghramyan metro station, Lover's Park is easily accessible and offers a perfect retreat for those exploring Yerevan.

Walking
If you are near the Yerevan Cascade, walk down the steps towards the city center and head towards the intersection of Mashtots Avenue and Marshal Baghramyan Avenue. Turn left onto Marshal Baghramyan Avenue, and Lover's Park will be on your right in about 15 minutes. No costs involved.
Public Transport
From Republic Square, take bus number 5 or 18 from the bus stop near the National History Museum. Get off at the 'Marshal Baghramyan Avenue' stop. Walk back a short distance, and you'll find Lover's Park on your left. The fare is 100 AMD.
Taxi
