Public Transport
From the main bus station in Alaverdi, take a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Kober Village. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Kobayr Monastery. From the stop, walk about 500 meters following the signs to reach the Kobayr Monastery Complex. A single fare should cost around 100-200 AMD.
Walking
From the center of Alaverdi, head south on Tigran Metz Street. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the M6 highway. Turn right onto the M6 highway and follow it for approximately 3 km. You will see signs for Kober Village and Kobayr Monastery. After about 3 km, turn left at the sign for Kobayr Monastery. Continue on this road for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at the Kobayr Monastery Complex. Allow approximately 1.5 to 2 hours for the walk.
