    If you're staying in Areni and enjoy a walk, you can walk to Magellan Cave. It's approximately 3 km from the village center. Follow the main road out of Areni towards Noravank Monastery. The cave entrance will be signposted. The walk takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Note that the road can be dusty, so wear appropriate footwear.
