Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Vayk, head west towards the main road. Walk along the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station. Here, you can catch a minibus heading to Jermuk. Be sure to check the schedule for departure times, which typically run every hour. Once aboard, enjoy the scenic ride, which lasts about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival in Jermuk, disembark at the last stop. From there, walk towards the main square and follow the signs leading to the Jermuk Hot Springs, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill from the square.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Vayk. Start by heading west along the main road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station. From here, continue on the road which will lead you directly to Jermuk. The entire route is around 12 kilometers and takes about an hour, depending on your pace. The road is mostly uphill, so be prepared for a moderate workout. Upon reaching Jermuk, follow the signs to the hot springs located approximately 1 kilometer from the town center.

• Hiking

  For adventurous souls, consider hiking from Vayk to Jermuk. Begin your hike by following the trail that leads west from the center of Vayk, heading towards the hills. This scenic route is about 10 kilometers long and can take 2 to 3 hours depending on your hiking speed. Follow the trail markers that guide you through the lush landscape. As you approach Jermuk, you'll notice the hot springs area as you descend into the valley. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water for the journey.
