The Grand Hotel Yerevan, originally opened in 1926 as a state hotel, adds a touch of neoclassical elegance to the square.At the heart of the square lies a decorative pool adorned with a mosaic, featuring the twelve signs of the zodiac. This fountain, operational since 1984, adds a unique artistic element to the space, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists.     Charles Aznavour Square is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from many points in downtown Yerevan. From Republic Square, walk northeast along Abovyan Street for about 530 meters. The square will be on your left. From the Yerevan Opera Theater, walk south on Freedom Avenue, then turn right onto Tumanyan Street, and finally turn right again onto Abovyan Street. The square will be on your right. The walk is approximately 700 meters.
