Getting There

    From the center of Paradera, near the main road (Route 1), head northwest towards Oranjestad. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see signs for Hooiberg Lookout on your right. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to Hooiberg, marked by a small parking area and a set of steps leading up to the lookout. There are no costs associated with walking to the base of Hooiberg.

    Take a bus from Oranjestad to San Nicolas and request to be dropped off at the nearest stop to Hooiberg. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1-2 km to reach the base of Hooiberg Lookout. Bus fare is approximately $2. Alternatively, take a bus from Boca Catalina to Oranjestad bus terminal. From there, transfer to a bus heading towards Santa Cruz. Once in Santa Cruz, you can either walk or take a taxi to Hooiberg Lookout. Walking directions from the bus stop to Hooiberg is about 15 minutes.
