Discover more about Natural Bridge Aruba

Aruba's Natural Bridge, located on the island's northern coast near Santa Cruz, was a stunning formation carved by centuries of relentless waves and strong winds against the coral limestone cliffs. Until its collapse on September 2, 2005, it stood as one of the largest natural bridges in the Caribbean, stretching approximately 100 feet in length and rising 23 feet above sea level. Though the main arch is gone, the area continues to draw visitors who come to witness the dramatic coastal scenery and the power of the ocean. The remains of the bridge serve as a reminder of nature's forces, both creative and destructive. Nearby, the smaller Baby Bridge offers a glimpse of what the original once looked like. The Natural Bridge site includes a souvenir shop and snack bar housed in a traditional Aruban cunucu house. The surrounding area offers other attractions, such as the Bushiribana gold mine ruins and Andicuri Beach, making it a worthwhile stop for those exploring Aruba's north coast. Other natural bridges can be found in Aruba, including one near Black Stone Beach featuring a unique tripod bridge.
