Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Oranjestad, start at the Renaissance Marketplace. Head southeast towards the waterfront and follow the path along the coast. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. Continue walking along the waterfront promenade until you reach the end of the marketplace. From there, take a left onto the main coastal road, which is called 'L.G. Smith Boulevard'. Walk for about 10 minutes, keeping the water on your left side. You will notice signs pointing towards Paardenbaai. As you approach, look for the beach area on your right, which is the entrance to Paardenbaai.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Paardenbaai, you can take a public bus from the Oranjestad bus terminal. Board a bus heading towards San Nicolas and ask the driver to drop you off at the 'Paardenbaai' stop. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, follow the path down towards the bay, which is a short walk away. Look for the signs directing you to the beach area.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Oranjestad. Once you have a bike, head towards 'L.G. Smith Boulevard' and cycle southeast along the coast. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs towards Paardenbaai as you approach the bay area. There are bike racks available where you can park your bicycle upon arrival.
