Boy Ecury Park: A Tranquil Oasis in Oranjestad

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Oranjestad, begin at the Renaissance Marketplace. Head east toward the water and follow the waterfront promenade. Continue along the coast until you reach the intersection with L.G. Smith Boulevard. Turn left onto L.G. Smith Boulevard and walk until you reach the road leading to Boy Ecury Park. The park entrance will be on your right at address GX79+P36. The walk should take about 20 minutes.

• Public Transport

  To reach Boy Ecury Park via public transportation, take the bus from Eagle Beach toward Oranjestad. Look for destination signs showing 'Oranjestad'. The bus ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Arriving at the Oranjestad bus terminal, exit and walk east toward Caya Betico Croes. Continue for about 10 minutes until you reach GX79+P36, where Boy Ecury Park is located. A round trip bus ticket costs $5.

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available throughout Oranjestad. From the Queen Beatrix International Airport to Boy Ecury Park, a taxi will cost approximately $21 and the ride will take 10-15 minutes. Taxis in Aruba do not use meters; fares are fixed based on the destination. There is a surcharge of $3 for rides on Sundays, official holidays, or between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
