    From the center of Paradera, head east on the main road (L.G. Smith Boulevard). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, passing through the area until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Oranjestad. At this intersection, turn left onto the road that leads you to Oranjestad. Keep walking for another 1 kilometer until you see signs for Hooiberg on your right. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the base of Hooiberg, where you can start your hike up the mountain.
