Discover more about Natural Bridge Aruba

For centuries, the relentless waves and winds sculpted Aruba's northern coast, creating several natural bridges. The most famous of these was the Natural Bridge, a magnificent arch of coral limestone that spanned over 100 feet and stood 23 feet above the sea. It was a symbol of the island's natural beauty and one of the most photographed landmarks in the Caribbean. Tragically, the Natural Bridge collapsed on September 2, 2005, after years of erosion. Fortunately, the collapse occurred at night, and no one was injured. Although the original Natural Bridge is no longer standing, the site remains a popular destination. Visitors can still witness the power of the sea as waves crash against the rugged coastline and admire the smaller, yet charming, Baby Bridge located nearby. The area surrounding the Natural Bridge offers more than just scenic views. A souvenir shop and snack bar, housed in a traditional Aruban 'cunucu' house, provide refreshments and mementos. Nearby attractions include the Bushiribana gold mine ruins and Andicuri Beach, making it a worthwhile stop on any Aruban adventure.
