Discover more about Natural Bridge Aruba

The Natural Bridge in Aruba was a stunning formation carved from coral limestone over thousands of years by the pounding waves and strong winds. Located on the northern coast between the Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins and Andicuri Beach, it stood approximately 23 feet high and spanned 100 feet, making it one of the largest of its kind. Though the iconic arch collapsed on September 2, 2005, due to natural erosion, the site remains a popular destination. Visitors can still witness the dramatic coastal scenery and explore the "Baby Bridge," a smaller, intact natural bridge nearby. The area also provides insight into Aruba's geological formation, with visible black volcanic rocks, the island's oldest part, and limestone formations containing coral fossils. Today, the Natural Bridge site offers more than just scenic views. A souvenir shop and snack bar, housed in a replica cunucu house, provide refreshments and mementos. The location serves as a reminder of nature's power and the ever-changing landscape of Aruba's coastline.
