Walking
Start your journey from the center of San Nicolas, facing the main street (L.G. Smith Blvd). Head west on L.G. Smith Blvd towards the coast. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers, passing local shops and cafes on your right. Look for a sign indicating the direction to Oranjestad. As you walk, you will see colorful murals and street art typical of San Nicolas. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit to stay on L.G. Smith Blvd. Keep walking for another 500 meters, and you will find the Queen Wilhelmina Monument on your left side, just past the local park.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bicycle, you can rent a bike at one of the local shops in San Nicolas. Start from the center of San Nicolas and head towards L.G. Smith Blvd. Follow the same route as the walking directions, cycling west down L.G. Smith Blvd. Enjoy the ride as you pass local attractions. The monument is located approximately 1.7 kilometers from the center of San Nicolas, which should take about 10-15 minutes by bike. Look out for the monument on your left side after passing the roundabout.
