Discover more about Arashi Beach

Arashi Beach, situated on the northwestern tip of Aruba in the district of Noord, offers a tranquil retreat from the island's bustling resort areas. This picturesque beach is characterized by its wide stretch of powdery white sand and gentle turquoise waters, making it an ideal destination for families, swimmers, and snorkelers of all skill levels. The beach's calm currents and diverse underwater ecosystem create an excellent environment for snorkeling, especially on the left side of the beach where beginners can spot schools of fish and, if lucky, even a stingray. More experienced snorkelers can venture to the right side for a chance to explore the vibrant coral reef, though caution is advised due to potentially rougher conditions. Arashi Beach is also known for its scenic beauty, offering stunning sunset views and opportunities to observe pelicans diving for fish. Palapas are available for free, providing shade from the strong Aruban sun, but arriving early is recommended to secure one. For additional comfort, lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. Historically, the area holds significance as a gathering place for conch diving by the Caquetios, the island's indigenous inhabitants. Today, Arashi continues to be a beloved spot for relaxation, recreation, and enjoying Aruba's natural splendor.
