Taxi

Taxis are readily available throughout Aruba and offer a direct route to Philip's Animal Garden. Inform the driver of your destination, Alto Vista 116, Noord. The ride from the Palm Beach area typically takes 5-7 minutes. Taxi fares in Aruba are fixed and start at $7 USD. A surcharge of $3 USD applies on Sundays, official holidays, and between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Public Transport

Take the Arubus to Noord. From Santa Cruz, take the bus heading towards Noord. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Philip's Animal Garden. From the bus stop, walk back towards Route 3, and you will find the entrance at Alto Vista 116, about a 5-minute walk. Bus fare is approximately $3 USD. Be aware that buses may not allow large suitcases.

The garden is also wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the experience. Philip's Animal Garden started unintentionally from Philip Merryweather's love for animals. He rescued a malnourished kitten, and that cat became the first of many animals he saved over the years. The garden has grown into a world-class shelter and rehabilitation center.
