Discover more about Tres Trapi Beach

Tres Trapi Beach, located on the northwest coast of Aruba, is a hidden gem between Malmok Beach and Boca Catalina. Its name, meaning 'three steps' in the local language, refers to the steps carved into the coral cliffs that provide access to the water. While not ideal for lounging due to its limited sandy area, Tres Trapi is celebrated for its exceptional snorkeling. The beach is easily recognizable by the steps and the single thatch-roofed beach umbrella near the parking lot. The clear, shallow waters are home to a variety of marine life, including colorful tropical fish, sea turtles, and numerous cushion starfish. Snorkelers can explore the sandy seabed and sea grass fields, where turtles often graze. The unique rocky coves surrounding the beach offer additional opportunities to discover diverse sea creatures. Despite the lack of amenities such as restrooms, showers, or restaurants, Tres Trapi's natural beauty and abundant sea life make it a must-visit destination for snorkelers and nature enthusiasts. Visitors are advised to wear water shoes to navigate the rocky entrance and protect their feet from sharp coral. Arriving early is recommended to secure parking and enjoy a peaceful snorkeling experience before the area gets crowded.
