Morialta Falls Hike: Trails and Tales with a Foreign Flair

A tour not to be missed!

Had a fantastic day. The whole trip was very well organised and Marco is a friendly and knowledged guide. Its true that Italians do it better! 😁 Hope to get back next year.

Adelaide City Highlights via Hahndorf Half-Day Tour

Very enjoyable, but not quite true to the description provided

We booked the Adelaide City Highlights via Hahndorf Half Day Tour and overall had a very enjoyable half day experience. The tour was comfortable, well-paced, and offered some lovely stops in the Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf. The luxury mini-bus was very comfortable, and our driver handled the vehicle well — steady, smooth, and never rushed. The three main stops were each enjoyable in their own way: - Mount Lofty Lookout - clear, beautiful views and an easy walk from the carpark. - Hahndorf (traditional German Village) - the highlight, with two hours to explore the village and enjoy lunch (if desired and at own cost). Visiting on a Monday meant it was less crowded, and while a few shops were closed, there was still plenty of variety including clothing, gifts, food, leather, ice creams (we especially loved the Christmas / cuckoo clock shop). - Beerenberg Farm Shop - a lovely surprise - a huge range of products in both tasting size jars and larger-sized bottles. We weren’t aware that Beerenberg produced such a large variety of products. Although we genuinely enjoyed the day, the tour didn’t completely align with the advertised inclusions. The description indicated that we would stop for a stroll through several Adelaide locations — Central Market, Victoria Square, Adelaide Oval, and the Torrens River. These were instead only pointed out during a brief drive through on our return to the city. I had specifically chosen this tour because it included stop(s) in Adelaide (vs drive-by), so it was a little disappointing that this part of the itinerary wasn’t provided. We also didn’t receive the box of chocolates mentioned in the inclusions, which we only remembered afterwards. Even so, the Hills portion of the tour was really enjoyable, and we did have a lovely half day out with comfortable transport and interesting & varied stops.
