From the Adelaide Botanic Garden's main entrance on North Terrace, walk north through the gardens, following signs for Botanic Park. The walk is approximately 500 meters and takes about 10 minutes. There is no cost for this route.
Public Transport
From the Adelaide city center, take the tram to the 'Botanic Gardens' stop on North Terrace. From there, walk north into the Adelaide Botanic Garden and continue into Botanic Park. The tram is free within the city center. Alternatively, several bus routes stop near the park's perimeter on Hackney Road and Frome Road. Check the Adelaide Metro website for specific routes and schedules. A single bus fare is around $4.
Driving
From Hackney Road, turn onto Plane Tree Drive to access ticketed parking. Parking fees apply from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays. Parking costs approximately $3.50 per hour, with extended all-day parking available for around $10. UPark Frome Street also offers parking options nearby, with rates starting at $5 for half an hour and ranging up to $26 for 4+ hours.
